Vantage Conferences has released details of its Mobile Marketing 2006 Conference. The conference will be staged on 28 November, and like last years event, it will be held at Congress House in London.
Keynote sessions will cover mobile technology; maximizing content; Mobile TV; monetizing mobile; and mobile campaign logistics. Speakers include Andrew Walmsley, Founding Partner of i-Level; Matt Jerwood, Head of Mobile at Dennis Publishing; Peter Birch, Head of Interactive Sales at ITV; and Jason R. Wells, Senior Vice President, Mobile Entertainment at Sony Pictures.
In addition to the keynote presentations, there are also workshops on mobile CRM; mobile search; mobile commerce; marketing in motion; comply or die; and integrated campaigns; plus what the organizers describe as: speed learning round tables.
The event culminates in an Awards Dinner featuring 12 categories, including Best use of mobile in customer acquisition; Best example of mobile in customer service; Mobile as a b2b tool; Best first-time advertiser on mobile; and Best use of mobile in events. In addition to these, there is also a Mobile Marketing Association Special Award, and a Grand Prix Award, selected on the night from one of the 12 category winners.
Vantage says it has already received entries from more than 20 agencies, and is expecting a total of more than 35 agencies, covering more than 60 client campaigns. Entry to the event costs 450 (+VAT) for the full day, or 375 for the afternoon only (including lunch). Tickets to the Awards Dinner cost 150 each.
