Last Call for Smartphones Show

Smartphones Asia, the only Smartphones event dedicated to the Asian market, takes place next week from 18 19 April at the Meritus Mandarin hotel in Singapore.
The conference brings together the entire Smartphones value chain, including operators, content providers, handsets vendors, application developers and OS vendors from across Asia. Speakers include Charles Henshaw, Executive Director & CEO, China Mobile Peoples Telephone Company, Hong Kong; John Forsyth, Vice President, Strategy, Symbian, UK; Jason Lim, Regional Director Asia Pacific and Japan, Mobile & Embedded Devices Division, Microsoft, Malaysia; and Larry Higdon, Head of Mobile and Broadband, Yahoo!
Event organiser Informa says delegates will be able to learn from the current experiences of operators, content providers and handset vendors in Asia to improve data speeds  to optimise Smartphone usage; find out how to deploy innovative Smartphone solutions to push information and branded services to segmented groups of customers; and make the right partnerships to consolidate service offerings and protect the revenue streams of the entire Smartphone value chain.
Theres also a pre-conference workshop, Developing with Symbian OS on 17 April, led  by Symbian, and a post-conference workshop, Smartphones in the Enterprise, on 20 April, which looks at delivering solutions to the enterprise with Smartphones through a series of end-user and operator case studies.
