Lloyds TSBs mobile banking app has been downloaded 360,000 times since its 10 October launch, according to the banking firm. The app is available on iOS, Android, BlackBerry, and Nokia platforms. 

The app offers Lloyds TSB customers mobile banking features as well as location-aware branch and ATM locators. 

The app lets users view account details and balances, and make transfers between Lloyds TSB personal accounts. Users can also pay bills and set up payments. 

“The use of mobile apps to assist day-to-day activities like banking on the go is more popular than ever, especially apps that provide customers with everything they need in one place,” says Ashley Machin, director of digital banking at Lloyds TSB. “By launching Lloyds TSB mobile banking simultaneously on the four most popular app platforms, the majority of customers can take advantage of the new app to help them control their money on the go. Purely through word of mouth we have had more than 360,000 downloads already being made, and expect to double that by the end of November.”
