London and Birmingham Get Wi-fi Benches

Wi-fi enabled benches have arrived in London and Birmingham, as part of Microsofts ‘work from anywhere’ campaign promoting Office 365.

The 4G wi-fi has been added to benches, painted orange and decorated with the Office logo, in Bloomsbury Square, Tavistock Square, Red Lion Square and Russell Square in London, and Victoria Square and Colmore Square in Birmingham.

The benches are the result of a collaboration between UM London, Rapport and Ministry of Experience.

Paul Sambrook, business development & marketing director at Rapport said: “The Wi-Fi enabled park benches are a useful addition to the London landscape, encapsulating the ‘work from anywhere’ mantra of Office 365, whilst enabling London’s thriving business community to connect whilst out of the office.”
