London’s Drake & Morgan Trials Q App

q appDrake & Morgan, owners of The Drift in Heron Tower, have started trialling queue-busting platform Q App in their bar Bishopsgate bar.

Q App enables users to browse the menu, place orders and pay from their mobile phone – even prior to arriving. The customer receives a push notification when their order is ready to be picked up from the ‘Fast Lane’ or they can have it delivered to their table.

The app will enable staff  to process more orders more quickly, as well as being able to gather data on customer behaviour, up?sell additional products and run real-time offers.

“We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of the cutting edge bar scene and trialling Q App is all part of this process,” said Jillian MacLean, MD of Drake & Morgan. “Our bars can become extremely busy and our hand made cocktail selection is very popular – any way to alleviate the queuing process will not only increase customer satisfaction but it will also increase productivity, it makes good business sense.”

The app is already being used in venues like the Palace Theatre, the Southbank Centre and Waxy O’Connors, as well as West Bromwich Albions stadium bar.
