Cosmetics retailer Lush has launched its first mobile app. The mCommerce, iOS app, developed in partnership with ustwo, showcases Lush’s entire product offering, and also highlights the companys environmental advocacy work.
Using the app, consumers can browse products and content based on scent or a feeling, with information about the provenance and benefits of each cosmetic, and detailed information on the wide range of fresh ingredients that Lush uses in its product range. The app also features a lot of video content and high-resolution images to show off the products in their best light.
“Working in such close collaboration with ustwo gave us the opportunity to create something really great together, that benefits from ustwo’s experience in delivering great mobile experiences, coupled with the brand knowledge and design/creative input from Lush,” said Adam Goswell, Lush Digital product owner. “It made for a formidable team.”
