Pre-owned luxury platform Luxe Collective has partnered with eBay UK to power the platform’s newly launched consignment service.

This service allows users to sell luxury items, starting with designer handbags, with the help of expert sellers managing the entire process.

eBay praised Luxe Collective for bringing “unrivalled expertise to the consignment service,” ensuring that coveted items from top brands like Chanel, Hermès and Louis Vuitton are listed professionally and competitively.

Items sold through the consignment service have shown impressive results.

eBay reported that a small quilted Chanel 19 flap bag sold for over 45% more than the average price of similar items listed traditionally on the platform.

“As consumer interest in shopping for pre-loved luxury continues to grow in popularity, eBay is evolving to ensure it is at the forefront to provide shoppers with the best service,” said Mari Corella, eBay’s general manager of luxury and sneakers.

“Consignment follows our already popular Authenticity Guarantee service, as we continue to enable customers to buy and sell on the platform with ease and peace of mind.”
