Making Sense of Mobile

If you didn’t make it to the mobileSQUARED Roadshow this week, you missed a very good day. Packed with stats, case studies and lots of useful information. And the room was packed from first thing till almost last, though I admit there did seem to be a mini-exodus just before the last panel of the day, moderated by yours truly. Presumbaly, people had trains to catch, though I have a sneaking suspicion that by then, some of them could smell the alcohol from the networking drinks sponsored by Qualcomm and Digital Architects.

There were a couple of presentations in particular that caught my eye, one from a global mobile advertising network, debunking some plopular myths about mobile; the other, from completely the other end of the  spectrum, from a UK university taking its first steps into mobile.

You can read more about the presentations, and why they made such an impression on me, here.
