Tyre manufacturer Maxxis is launching its first community app this month. The iPhone/iPad app, created by Propeller Mobile, combines product and event information with customer engagement. It features photos and blogs of Maxxis’ pin-up Babes, as well as information about the Maxxis tyre range and sponsored teams and drivers. It also allows users to form a fan community by creating their own profiles and linking these with social media.
The app includes tyre specifications; details of the nearest Maxxis tyre retailer; exclusive updates on Maxxis-sponsored events, teams and drivers; a calendar of Maxxis calendar of performance/tuning shows; and, for those who need a break from looking at tyres, exclusive Maxxis Babes updates, including pictures, videos and blogs.
