M&C Saatchi Abel Introduces Charity Stamps for Good

M&C Saatchi Stamps for GoodM&C Saatchi Abel has created a new initiative to allow people to include a virtual stamp, in every email they send, that is linked to a specific charity.

In collaboration with RocketSeed, Stamps for Good is made up of 10 stamps linked to 10 different charities. To get involved, subscribers must visit the Stamps for Good website, pick a cause, pay for the stamp – that will be embedded in the emails – and all the proceeds then go to the chosen charity. At present, Stamps for Good is only available to companies, with subscriptions lasting a year. Though M&C Saatchi Abel have plans to extend the stamps to individuals in the near future.

“People these days are looking for simple ways to show they care about issues. Stamps For Good enables this,” said Gordon Ray, executive creative director at M&C Saatchi Abel. “By having one of the Stamps for Good stamps embedded in every email sent, your company is showing that they care and are making a meaningful difference in the world, and encourages others businesses to do the same.”

The charities that companies can choose from include The Haven Night Shelter, Apple-a-Day Foundation, WWF and Habitat for Humanity SA.
