MCTEL Opens Up in Mexico and Argentina

MCTEL, which supplies mobile device management, messaging and roaming solutions, has opened two new offices, in Mexico and Argentina.

Historically based in Europe with its headquarters in Monaco, MCTEL has regional offices in Dubai and Singapore covering the African, Middle East and Asian regions. This has enabled the company to collaborate with major mobile operators and groups in those regions. MCTEL Device management is designed to help operators efficiently manage their device fleet and grant their customers an optimal user experience through mobile services. The advanced messaging, VAS and roaming suites complement this technology by offering the tools and key equipment needed to deploy a successful mobile VAS strategy.

“MCTEL has an excellent background working in dynamic mobile markets” says MCTEL president and CEO, Dr Daniel MAVRAKIS. “Latin American has a strong potential in line with our strategy and our core competencies. By opening offices in Mexico and Argentina, we aim to provide well-proven VAS-enabling solutions to mobile operators in the region.”

MCTEL regional headquarters will be based in Mexico, with a sales representation in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The company says it is already in contact with several mobile operators for potential deployments of mobile device management and roaming solutions in the region.
