MDA Reveals Analyst Day Line-up

The Mobile Data Association (MDA) has opened registration for its annual Industry Analyst Day, which takes place on Wednesday 25 March at City University, Northampton Square, London, EC1V 0HB. The event kicks off with lunch at noon, with presentations beginning at 13:00, wrapping up at approximately 16:30. Anyone can attend. Tickets cost 75. MDA members go free.
At the event, analysts will be presenting their predictions and research on subjects including mobile application trends and innovations; revenue models in growing market segments; mobile multimedia and messaging strategies; mobile payments; and mobile data solutions for business. There will also be a focus on the impact the global financial crisis is having on the mobile industry.
Paul Lee from Deloitte will present, Is anyone too big for the bin? a controversial view of the future of the TMT (Telecoms, Media & Technology) world. Rob Bamforth from Quocirca will examine the corporate uptake of mobile broadband, looking at the drivers and challenges faced by businesses that mobilise their workforce.
Paolo Pescatore from CCS Insight will discuss the mobile entertainment landscape, while Shailendra Padney from Informa will consider how to make mobile payments and mobile banking a reality, and Visiongain will present on the future of mobile content and applications. The speakers will also come together in a Panel session to discuss what impact mobile technology will have on the London 2012 Olympics.
