Media6Degrees (m6d) has bought EveryScreen Media (ESM), a company specialising in mobile media buying and targeting.
The acquisition is intended to expand the mobile advertising capabilities m6d can offer its customers.
“For the past two years, m6d and ESM have partnered successfully to provide scalable audience and contextual solutions that help brands connect with consumers in any relevant environment,” said Tom Phillips, CEO of m6d. “Now is the right time to combine massive data sets from both browsers and devices to establish multi-platform intelligence for directing marketing messages. The acquisition of ESM is a natural extension of our existing business and core strengths.”
Bob Geiman, former CEO of ESM, will join the m6d team as senior advisor, while ESM executives Josh Engroff, Tom O’Reilly and Lauren Moores will take the roles of GM of mobile, VP of mobile technology and VP of analytics respectively.
The financial details of the acquisition are undisclosed.
