Meet the New Mobile Marketing Magazine

Welcome to the all-new Mobile Marketing magazine website. You shouldn’t have too much difficulty seeing the difference between this one and the old one that has served us so well over the past five years.

We’ve tried to make the new site as easy as possible to drive. Use the tabs across the top to get to what you’re interested in, and in the News and Analysis sections, everything’s broken down into sub-categories so you can focus on the subject matter that you need to know about. We won’t insult your intelligence by telling you what you’ll find in each section. If that’s not obvious, then we’ve not done a very good job in labelling the site up.

To get the most out of the site, we urge you to register using the Register link top right, or the Newsletter box over on the right hand side. Once you’re registered, you can sign up for news, events and digital magazine alerts, post comments on any of the stories on the site, and vote in our polls. Once you’ve registered, you’ll be emailed a one-time password to log in to the site and change it to something more memorable.

All the content from the past five years is on the new site, and it’s all easily searchable. Use the search box at the top of the page to find the information you’re looking for. When the results are returned, you can refine your search by limiting it to specific sections of the site, or searching for a specific phrase.

Other than that, it’s business as usual. We’ll continue to bring you the latest news from the mobile marketing frontline when we return on Tuesday after the Bank Holiday. And we’ll continue to invite execs from the industry to share their thoughts with us through Guest Columns and interviews.

We hope you like the new site. If there’s anything about it you don’t, then please email me to let me know. If you do, then a lot of credit should go to the designers, Affinity Digital, who over the past few months, have put up with my lame questions and last-minute changes of mind to produce a site we can be proud of.

As I said on the last post on the old site, the last five years doing the site have been a blast. The next five promise to be even better, with our Awards programme the EMMAs (Effective Mobile Marketing Awards) issuing its call for entries in the next few days, our print magazine receiving rave reviews, and the industry itself going from strength to strength.

Thanks to everyone who has supported us in any way over the past five years. Here’s to the next five.
