MEF Event Looks At Regulation

The Mobile Entertainment Forum (MEF) is staging a one-day seminar entitled: Regulation of Premium Mobile Content Services Whats on the horizon? on 5 June in London.
The event has been organised by the MEF EMEA chapter and the Mobile Data Association (MDA), with support from PhonepayPlus, and takes place at the Royal Statistical Society. It will look at how the latest legislation will affect premium rate services; what are the hottest new business models in mobile entertainment; how is the market performing today; and what does the future look like?
Speakers include Claudio Pollock, Director of Consumer Policy at Ofcom; Cliff Young Head of Lotteries at the Gambling Commission; Iain McCallum, Head of Interactive Messaging at O2; Paul Goode, SVP Business Development & Senior Analyst at M:Metrics; Andrew Bud, Executive Chairman, mBlox and  Chairman of the MEF; and George Kidd, Chief Executive of PhonepayPlus.
