The MEF (Mobile Entertainment Forum) will hold a webinar to launch a new set of privacy and security standards for the mCommerce industry.
The webinar will take place at 5pm BST on May 24.
The standards, developed in conjunction with financial standards body ASC X9, aim to create consumer and merchant confidence for the mobile industry.
The MEF will be inviting retailers, brands, financial institutions and leaders in the mobile industry to join the development of the standards. 
Speakers included ASC X9s working group chair Jeff Stapleton, Darin Contini, project editor and secretary of ISO TC68/SC7 / WG10 Mobile Banking, MEF chair and Impact Mobile CEO Gary Schwartz, Principal at KPMG Sanjaya Krishna, and the MEFs policy and initiatives director Suhail Bhat.
