Meffies Shorlist Revealed

The Mobile Entertainment Forum (MEF) has announced the shortlist for its 2006 Mobile Entertainment awards, the Meffys. The Awards honour the companies and individuals who are pioneering new ideas, technologies and business models that are shaping the mobile entertainment industry. Last years winners included Endemol, Nokia, Orange and Vodafone.
The Awards will take place alongside Mobile Entertainment Market (MEM) 2006 at Islingtons Business Design Centre, London. Winners will be unveiled by Pete Tong at an awards ceremony sponsored by Motorola and Sun Microsystems on 24 May.
The shortlist, which has been selected for each category by panels of independent media and analyst experts, is as follows
