Met Office Brings the Weather to Android

The Met Office has launched its first app for Android, alongside an update for its iOS app, developed by Mubaloo. The Met Office Weather app includes a dashboard widget, and severe weather alerts, as well as three-hourly forecasts and a five-day overview over 5,000 locations.
Charles Ewen, head of web and media at the Met Office, says: “Both apps are free and offer easy access to our forecasts 24 hours a day. Mubaloo have delivered both apps on time, and to a high spec which we are extremely pleased with.”
