Latin American mobile marketing firm Up-Mobile Corporation has launched a solution that enables mobile users to review the lottery results in Mexico by texting a SMS message from their mobile phone. The service is compatible with all mobile phones and is easy to use. Users can buy a lottery ticket from their phone by sending an SMS. After the draw has been made, the system automatically sends the result to every user that has bought a ticket using the service.
The service launched on 25 January and has been granted all the necessary certifications and requirements by the Mexican government and the lottery provider, Pronosticos para la Asistencia Publica.
People are buying their lottery tickets directly from their cellphones whenever and wherever they are, says Up-Mobile General Manager, Alejandro Vinay. The response has been amazing, and we are delighted that this service is a success with mobile users.
