MIG Goes for a Million

Mobile Interactive Group (MIG) has signed an exclusive two year contract with Million 2-1, the interactive competition, lottery and games company, to provide high speed SMS and WAP billing (Payforit) across its range of consumer products and services.
Million 2-1 provides a number of successful, low-stake, mobile gaming products to companies including UTV Group, ITV, O2, T-Mobile, Liverpool FC, GCap & EMAP and also operates a number of successful direct-to-consumer mobile brands, including HowLo? HowHot? and BlingThing.
MIGs world record-breaking, 2,000 messages-per-second SMS gateway is being used to power Million-2-1s mobile games portfolio, which includes formats such as HowLo?, the reverse auction where the lowest unique bid is the winner, and The Manchester Lottery, the UKs first regional SMS lottery.
The deal will see the companies working more closely together on a number of strategic initiatives, including the launch of a WAP-based interactive direct-to-consumer gaming format that uses Million 2-1s reverse auction and treasure hunt gaming mechanics, HowLo? and HowHot?
Our partnership with MIG demonstrates our commitment to teaming with the leading mobile service providers in the industry says Million 2-1 CEO Chris Sheffield, CEO. MIGs reputation for providing expertise and support is well deserved. We have invested a lot of time and effort in to ensuring that our games are fine-tuned to be compliant with the regulatory framework administered by the Gambling Commission.  More than this, we have firmly set out our stall as a responsible gambling provider.  With new legislation just around the corner it is crucial that mobile service providers that wish to offer any kind of gaming or gambling service understand the new regulatory environment, and of course, MIG is leading the pack.  I am sure our previous good relations will continue to prosper.
