Mobile ad network Millennial Media has updated its advertising solutions with features that allow developers to sell their own ads. The company has also updated its iOS and Android SDKs.
Millennial's advertising tools now offer a 'Client Ads' feature, which gives developers access to Millennial Media's ad serving technology to run campaigns in their apps that they've sold in themselves.
The solution also allows users to place Millennial's traditional ad formats, as well as allocate impressions to third-party ad networks. Millennial also says it has made it easier for developers to implement house ad campaigns.
The updated SDKs takes both iOS and Android development tools to version 4.5. The new SDKs include support for iOS 5, improved interstitial controls, advanced targeting capabilities, and improved video interstitial callbacks.
The company has also enhanced its developer mmDev website. mmDev is a portal site for developers, and the SDKs can be downloaded here.
