Millennial Media Appoints Paul Gubbins, Gavin Johnson

Mobile ad firm Millennial Media has appointed Gavin Johnson as VP Sales, UK, and Paul Gubbins as head of programmatic, EMEA.

Johnson will be responsible for leading the agency and client sales teams in the UK. He comes from Specific Media, and before that established Nutshell, an ideas platform used by media agencies.

“As digital ad spend moves increasingly towards mobile, joining the leading independent ad platform for mobile is a tremendous opportunity,” said Johnson. “I’m excited to be a part of an EMEA leadership team that will be central in driving future growth for Millennial Media and shaping the future of our clients’ digital engagement strategies.”

Gubbins joins from Adbrain, but over the past two years has also held senior roles at Weve, Rubicon Project and StrikeAd. At Millennial, he will be responsible for driving the company’s presence in programmatic advertising in the EMEA region.

Both new hires will report to EMEA Managing Director Zac Pinkham, and will work out of Millennial Media’s London office.
