MindMatics has been tasked with creating a global mobile charity campaign by the Goal4Africa Global Foundation. A Goal4Africa charity soccer match is being staged this Saturday, 12 July at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. The game will be broadcast around the world, and will feature some of the worlds top players, including Steven Gerrard, Michael Ballack, Paolo Maldini, Ronaldo, and many more.
During the game, viewers will be prompted by advertising to text a keyword to a local shortcode in order to receive a mobile phone wallpaper, while at the same time making a donation to charity.  The proceeds will go to Nelson Mandelas 46664 Foundation, which supports HIV positive people and AIDS sufferers.
MindMatics is supporting the campaign with SMS short codes in 16 countries and a central content management system, which will manage the delivery of the mobile content.
