Miyake Spearheads Japan Push

Hong Kong-based Artificial Life, which provides award-winning mobile 3G technology, games and applications, has announced its business expansion into Japan and the hiring of the games industry veteran, Kazutoshi Miyake, as its Director, Business Development, Japan.
Miyake has over 30 years experience in international business development and management. In 1993, he became General Manager of Sega Enterprises, running Segas operations in Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. He then became the CEO of Sega Europe from 1994 to 2001. He has remained in the videogames industry ever since, taking up the posts of non-executive board member of Andromeda Entertainment, Akaei Plc, Infogrames Entertainment SA, and Acclaim Entertainment, from 2001 to 2003. He is also the current CEO of Atari Japan.
