MMA Elects EMEA Board

The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) has announced its new Board of Directors for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. The election of the new board members comes after over a month of nominations, in which more than 200 members voted, leading to a record number of nominees. The voting precedes the election of regional Executive Committee members, who will also make up the Global Board.

The MMA has also announced the new representatives of its other three regional boards, in N. America, Asia Pacific and Latin America. The MMA regional and global board members will collaborate with MMA staff to oversee and guide the MMA and its industry initiatives, continuing the Association’s work on the five building blocks required to further industry growth: Promote, Educate, Measure, Guide and Protect.

The MMA 2011 Board of Directors for EMEA is as follows:

  • Hinde Pagani, senior mobile marketing manager, The Coca-Cola Company

  • Alexandra Deutsch, chief project officer, Out There Media
  • Tanya Field, director – Mobile Data Group, Telefonica SA
  • Clare Grant, CMO, Volantis

The Executive Committee in each region and the Global Board will also be finalised in the coming weeks and announced at the Mobile Marketing Association Forum Los Angeles in November. The newly elected Boards will seat beginning 1 January, 2011.
