MMA Reveals Singapore Forum Speaker Line-up

The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) has announced the speaker line-up and agenda for the upcoming MMA Forum Singapore, which takes place at the Grand Hyatt, Singapore from 3 – 5 May, 2011.

Speakers include Aditya Save, head of media at Marico India; Naveen Tewari, founder & CEO of InMobi; Rahul Welde, vice president – media, Asia, Africa, Middle East and Turkey at Unilever; Thomas Labarthe, vice president, mobile advertising at Alcatel-Lucent; and Tomi T Ahonen, author, consultant and general mobile guru.

“Over the last three years, our core theme has moved from technology to brand and now to consumer centric engagement,” says Rohit Dadwal, the MMA’s managing director for the Asia Pacific region. “Consumers today are better informed and have more product/service options available to them than ever before… Mobile presents a unique opportunity in (that) it’s always on, always available nature, making it an ideal medium for reaching out to today’s dynamic consumer set. Topics up for discussion at the Forum include the new rules of engagement with mobile consumers; global insights on successful mobile advertising; the impact of consumer behaviour on mCommerce; permission-based engagement; creating connections through mobile; and accelerating through the purchase funnel using mobile advertising.
