MobFox Deploys Device Detection from ScientiaMobile

MobFox has integrated ScientiaMobile’s WURFL InFuze device detection solution into its mobile ad network, to improve its targeting capabilities and responsiveness to ad requests.
MobFox is leveraging the device detection capabilities in two ways – to serve advertising content that is the correct dimensions for the users device, and to gauge campaign effectiveness by device. 
“The mobile advertising market is increasing dramatically as smartphones and tablets are becoming the most popular way to view web content,” said MobFox CEO Julian Zehetmayr. “In the past, we used ScientiaMobile’s WURFL OnSite API. But with the projected growth, we favored a solution that was more deeply integrated with our web server and delivered even greater performance. We were thrilled to find ScientiaMobile’s WURFL InFuze helped us achieve these goals.”
