MobiCart has announced the forthcoming launch of its mobile e-commerce app builder of the same name. The solution will be officially launched at the DEMO Conference in Silicon Valley later this month.
It has been developed by MobiCart CEO, Wladimir Baronoff-Rossine, in collaboration with Codeworks DEV (Digital Evaluation Vehicle) and web designer Andy Clarke, the author of the best-selling book Transcending CSS: The Fine Art of Web Design.
It is designed to make it easy for online retailers to tap into the mobile app industry by providing a free and simple way to build and manage their own native iPhone, iPad and Android e-commerce store.
Codeworks DEV offers a software application prototyping service, and was brought on to the project in July. The firm undertook a degree of market research for MobiCart before Baronoff-Rossine approached Clarke about working on the project.
“DEMO will provide us with the perfect opportunity to showcase our fantastic new product to the world,” says Baronoff-Rossine. “Mobile commerce is the future and we are delighted to be at the forefront of this fast growing industry. MobiCart is in good hands with Codeworks Dev and Andy Clarke; it’s great to have them on board.”
Baronoff-Rossine will launch MobiCart at the DEMO Conference in Silicon Valley, which takes place from 13 – 15 September, presenting the solution to more 700 venture capitalists, journalists and industry experts. The event is a launch pad for emerging technologies, and over the past 20 years, has reviewed more than 20,000 companies, with 1,500 selected to launch on the DEMO stage. Previous success stories include household names such as Adobe Acrobat, Palm Computing, Netscape Navigator and Skype’s first implementation for mobile handsets.
