Mobile App World Offers 2-for-1 Deal

Mobile App World 2010 has unveiled its core speaker programme for the conference, to be held on 19 – 20 October at Vinopolis, London.

Themed Delivering the Future of Apps, the two-day conference consists of sessions and workshops led by speakers from all parts of the mobile ecosystem and will see discussion on the latest thinking in app creation, promotion and ensuring real business benefits from apps, not just hype. The event organizers are offering agencies the opportunity to bring a client for free, with a two-for-the-price-of-one ticket promotion.

Headlining the conference programme are speakers from Palm, O2, Sponge, Ogilvy, M&C Saatchi Mobile, Grapple, Fetch Media, GetJar and the BBC. The Keynote speech will be delivered by Ben Combee, senior developer relations at Palm.

The conference aims to address key questions faced by marketers around monetising and recouping investment on app development through agency case study presentations and dedicated sessions on brand-building through applications, app promotion, mCommerce, maximising app ROI, content and next-generation technologies.

Alongside this, free workshops will explore app strategy, cross-platform development, targeted marketing techniques, devices, app security and key tips on developing a killer app. The conference programme will culminate in the inaugural Mobile App World Awards which will recognise the best in app creation and strategies and the names behind them in the global app world.

“The Mobile App World programme will provide a platform for some the world’s leading thinkers on apps to share their thoughts and experiences about exactly what it takes to develop an app that delivers real business value and not to just satisfy a client who wants an app because of all the hype they see,” says Mobile App World director, Shaun Pinney.
