A secure device management service has been launched by PMGC Technology Group to help enterprises cope with the increasing numbers of smartphones and tablets used at work. The service enables firms to audit devices, lock or erase them remotely if lost and drive efficiencies from data collected.
Firms can manage both company-owned and employee chosen devices through a cloud-based platform or hosted on-site office service, provided in partnership with AirWatch. Sensitive information can be selectively locked over the air; office-wide updates to applications and documents can aso be delivered in real-time. 
“Aside from the security issues the MDM will also reduce the time burden for IT teams who are responsible for the maintenance and updating of devices. MDM is an integral part of any companies’ mobile strategy,” said Joe Mayhew, CIO at PMGC Technology Group.
