Mobile is 11 Per Cent of $1bn Australian Online Ad Spend

Online advertising spend in Australia has broken the 1bn Australian dollar (£580m) mark, with mobile growing to represent 11 per cent of the market.
Search takes the largest share of mobile spend, 58.4 per cent, with the remaining budget spent on general display, according to the latest IAB Australia Online Advertising Expenditure report.
Smartphones see 51.4 per cent of mobile budget, with tablets almost equal with 48.6 per cent. Video advertising expenditure doubled year-on-year, found the report.
