Mobile Marketing magazine and mobile events startup Camerjam have formed a partnership to produce a series of Mobile Masterclass events in 2011, covering industry sectors from retail and publishing to travel and banking. The Masterclass series will offer executives from each industry the opportunity to learn about mobile, connect with leading experts and develop mobile strategies, all during the course of the afternoon events.
“The Masterclass series will focus on specific verticals, starting with Mobile Retail on 15th March 2011 in London, and will only be open for those working in the sector to attend,” says Camerjam founder, James Cameron. “Attendees will be able to tailor the sessions to their needs by taking part in speed-meetings, mobile surgeries and workshop groups on core mobile areas, including mobile website deveopment, apps, search, coupons, advertising, marketing, CRM, analytics, location and augmented reality.”
The series starts with the Mobile Retail Masterclass in March. Subsequent events include:
- Publishing – April 2011
- Hospitality – May 2011
- Travel – June 2011
- Automotive – September 2011
- Banking & Finance – November 2011
“We’re thrilled about this partnership,” says Mobile Marketing editor, David Murphy. “Camerjam has quickly established a reputation as a specialist in the mobile space. With their events prowess and our understanding of the mobile marketing industry, I think we can help executives from all sorts of sectors to gain a better understanding of mobile, and start using it to benefit their business.”
The events are designed for mobile managers, marketing directors, heads of marketing, digital marketing managers, e-commerce managers and website managers from each sector.
