Mobile, On The Buses

Plymouth Citybus has worked with Corethree to offer a mobile ticket app for travellers on its service. It is available on iPhone and Android for users to purchase and store tickets which can then be flashed at the driver.

Ashley Murdoch, Corethree CEO, said: “We provide the most flexible mobile wallet and mTicketing solution on the market, as part of the larger Corethree portfolio, and we look forward working closely with Plymouth Citybus to expand the array of benefits to their customers.”

Plymouth Citybus serves more than 14m passengers every year and is the biggest public transport provider in the area.

Corethrees mobile wallet service is its own alternative to Google Wallet and Apples Passbook, which it says works across any major handset, network, and bank card.
