Mobile Traffic to ESPN Jumps 24 Per Cent

Sports broadcaster ESPN saw a 24 per cent year-on-year increase in visits from mobile devices during 2013, and mobile accounted for 41 per cent of the 154.5bn minutes spent with its digital properties, excepting video content.
ESPNs UK site saw mobile traffic triple, with average monthly visits from mobile hitting 1.5m, and page views up to 2.4m.
ESPN has a wide portfolio of properties based on a variety of sports – for example, its cricket site ESPNcricinfo, which reached more than 10 per cent of Indias total smartphone audience, making it the countrys top mobile sports site.
