MobileGuy Launches Blackberry Support Service

Mobile data service company MobileGuy has launched a UK-wide support service for Blackberry devices to remedy what it calls the inconsistent support that is often slow and frustratingly under-resourced.
The company provides BlackBerry server software installations, mobile data support contracts and mobile data consultancy. It delivers its services to government departments, international PLCs and small businesses alike. It is also the provider behind several leading IT and telecoms companies that use the MobileGuy partner program to offer services under their own brand.
The problem for many businesses is that the traditional telecoms and IT channels don't have access to the right resources when it comes to supporting Blackberry, says MobileGuy Technical Director, Simon Minshall, and those that do can pay a high price.
MobileGuy's approach is to offer its customers direct access to technical specialists for fast query resolution; prompt site visits from engineers all qualified to BCSE (BlackBerry Certified Support Engineer) and MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) status; qualified SLAs (Service Level Agreements) on mobile data support contracts; and the backing of an organisation that specialises in Blackberry.
MobileGuy also boasts CESG status, which allows it access to Government sites in order to perform mobile data installation services which conform to Government best practice and procedures. The company also says it offers realistic pricing on support contracts that can be up to 75% lower than other established suppliers.
The MobileGuy service is available directly to businesses but is also offered on a partner/white label basis to the IT and telecoms channel. To help promote its channel benefits, MobileGuy is offering a free Blackberry server health check to all the customers of any business partner who signs up.
