MobileMarketing:2011 Event Set for 12 April

MobileMarketing:2011, organised by Promotional Marketing magazine, the Institute of Promotional Marketing, and the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB), and sponsored by Incentivated, m2end and GRG One Fee, will take place on April 12 at Altitude 360 in London. A conference designed to explore the latest developments in mobile marketing technology, and how best to exploit them, MobileMarketing:2011 has a full days agenda with a number of prominent industry speakers. 

Advice and insight into a variety of areas of the industry will feature, including mobile payments, location-based services, NFC, barcodes and coupons, Augmented Reality, and more, say the organisers. 

The event will be chaired by director of mobile and operations at the IAB, Jon Mew. The keynote speaker is Andy Letting, senior marketing manager at Sky Mobile, who will explore mobile as a strategic tool for brands. There will also be a panel session on the future of location-based marketing, featuring representatives from Ogilvy Action, Baber Smith, We Love Mobile, and The Marketing Store. 

Other speakers include Incentivateds Robert Thurner, who will discuss mobile commerce; and Daniel Angel, head of mobile payments at Everything Everywhere, who will address NFC. Simon Jobling, commercial director at m2end, will look at Augmented Reality beyond the gimmick.
