Mobilethink Analytics Offers Device Analysis System

Mobilethink Analytics has launched an analysis tool for network operators that allows them to assess the devices in use on their network.

The processing tool from the mobile device management company give access to a device database that allows networks to identify every feature of 6,500 phones and connect cards – including data such as make, model, screen size, OS, support for Java, whether its 2G or 3G, and whether it has a GPS chip.

“By using Mobilethinks core analytical service, marketing departments are provided a comprehensive network intelligence service at a fraction of the price of a full-blown business intelligence system,” says the company.

The aim of the system, says the company, is to help mobile marketers struggling to implement cross-channel campaigns, because it says “one for all” campaigns have proved unsuccessful.

“We believe this next generation analytics offering is destined to become a fundamental part of a network or virtual network operators business,” says Lars Vestergaard, Mobilethink Analytics managing director. “For years, marketing departments and analysts have demanded real world business-critical intelligence about customers phones in their networks to better up-sell new services and improve customer retention rates. With Mobilethink Analytics new offering, they can.”
