Mobility solutions firm Mahindra Comviva has updated its mobiquity Wallet digital wallet platform for financial institutions, to leverage key features of Apple’s iOS 10 operating system. mobiquity Wallet has adopted SiriKit, the latest offering from Apple that allows apps to integrate Siri, Apples voice-controlled virtual assistant. As such, mobiquity Wallet users can now send and request payments from others using a voice command.
mobiquity Wallet also now comes with 3D Touch integration, a technology that was first introduced in iPhone 6S. With 3D Touch, a wallet user can access the most frequently-used features such as transaction history and current balance without opening the wallet application.
Mobiquity Wallet is a white-label mobile wallet solution that integrates payments, loyalty, and mobile marketing. It is one of the first wallet platforms to use NFC – HCE (Host Card Emulation) including tokenisation, QR code, biometrics and BLE.
HCE simplifies the NFC payment ecosystem and reduces operational costs involved in launching NFC payments. mobiquity® Wallet also provides a patent-pending hybrid HCE offering, which facilitates a higher level of security for mobile payment transactions.
