Travel search engine Momondo has launched an iPhone app that offers its search tools to users of Apples smartphone.
The app allows users to compare prices on flights, hotels, and car hire from more than 800 travel sites. Users can also save search results on the device and mail search results to travel companions.
The Momondo site is based in Copenhagen, but gives access to global low-cost and major airlines and booking services. 
“Our iPhone app has been developed so that our on-the-move users can always access Momondo and search for the best real time offers on flights,” says Martin Lumbye, Partner at Momondo. “This is the first of a series of launches thatll make it even easier for our users to get the full benefit of Momondos services on their smart phones.”
