Mobile application developer Moofwd has announced Mooestro, an mLearning suite for educational institutions to create their own mobile learning projects.
The suite aims to give university IT departments the tools to create student-centred mobile apps.
The Mooestro mLearning suite is bulit around Moofwds Convergence Platform – a mobile enterprise app platform that combines elements of cloud services with the in-house systems of the companies that use it.
“Students today already live much of their lives in the digital space and student-centric mobile apps are more likely to be adopted and used by students because mobile technology is already such a big part of their lives,” says Sachin Ahuja, CEO and chief architect of Moofwd. “Mooestro provides educational institutions with the toolset necessary to easily expand the education experience to include mobile. The universities that dont take advantage of the mobile platform are missing a huge opportunity to better connect and interact with their students.”
The Mooestro suite is available to institutions on a per-user runtime license. All upfront customization and implementations are provided free of cost, says Moofwd.
