LinkedIn promotes Moyes
LinkedIn has announced that Ngaire Moyes has been appointed to Vice President of International Brand and Communications.
Since joining LinkedIn in 2011, Moyes has built a world-class international Brand and Communications function that is prized for its creativity, innovation and impact. Her leadership has taken LinkedIn from a start-up to a hyper growth brand which today has 756 million members globally.
Skyscanner appoints SVP of Marketing
Global travel marketplace Skyscanner has announced the appointment of Clive Peoples as SVP of Marketing.
Most recently, Peoples led a team of 160 product owners, marketers, data scientists, user experience designers and engineers as Head of Global Customer Marketing at eBay. During his three years at the company, he created transformative customer experiences, personalising
DAX promotes Hollander
Digital advertising platform, DAX has announced the appointment of Les Hollander as CEO, North America.
Hollander is a digital audio advertising veteran with over 30 years of expertise. He joined DAX in March 2020 from Spotify, where he was responsible for building the organisation’s digital audio monetisation business through direct, programmatic and automated channels, as Head of Global Audio Monetisation. Prior to joining Spotify, Hollander was a VP of Ad Revenue at Pandora and held senior management positions at Gannett, CBS Radio, and Clear Channel Communications.
Junger joins Quantcast
Global advertising technology company, Quantcast has announced the addition of Valerie Junger as the companys Chief People Officer (CPO).
Junger previously served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Hillspire LLC, the family office for Eric and Wendy Schmidt. Before that, she worked as Vice President of HR at several global technology firms, including Aerohive Networks, Model N and SSL.
Havas Market recruits Chapplow
Havas Media Group’s ecommerce practice, Havas Market has announced the appointment of Jessica Chapplow to the newly created role of Head of Ecommerce.
Selected for Media Week’s 30 Under 30 in 2018, as well as being nominated for Women in IT’s Young Leader of the Year award in 2019, Chapplow specialises in digital transformation, focusing on cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain and augmented reality. Prior to joining KR MediaCom in 2019, she held positions at Wavemaker and MEC, as well as working client-side in the marketing team at Tiffany and Co.
Adverity announces two new hires
Marketing analytics platform, Adverity has announced Harriet Durnford-Smith as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) alongside Christina Schlesinger as Chief Customer Officer (CCO).
Schlesinger has spent her entire career in marketing SaaS businesses joining Adverity in 2017. Previously VP of Sales & Account Management, as CCO her focus will be on grouping Adverity’s customer-facing and delivery functions together to streamline their customer-focused strategy across the business.
With a proven track record in B2B technology marketing in agency and in-house roles, prior to joining Adverity in 2019, Durnford-Smith established and scaled the marketing function at a successful UK-based technology consultancy that was recently acquired by a global IT services provider and investment firm.
Iwanowski joins the AnyClip team
Visual intelligence company, AnyClip has announced entertainment and media marketing veteran Kirk Iwanowski as its new CMO.
Most recently Iwanowski served as CMO and EVP of EPIX. At EPIX he was widely recognized for helping the brand evolve from a singular movie channel to a full premium entertainment service while also effectively introducing the network to a mass television and streaming consumer audience on the heels of MGM’s $1b acquisition of the network in 2017.
Premji takes up CFO position
Mobile-data powered CTV platform, Sabio is bringing on Sajid Premji as CFO to help them navigate massive growth across the U.S. and Canada.
Premji has 15+ years experience in the industry including public companies’ audit & assurance, and financial crimes compliance. This experience will be essential as more and more brands turn to Sabio to help them bridge the gap between CTV and mobile, with app behavior data from 300MM mobile devices, reaching 55M cross screen households.
OnePulse recruits Ashiru
Real-time consumer insight platform, OnePulse has boosted its leadership team by appointing David Ashiru to drive its global sales.
Ashiru joins from data analytics and brand consultancy Kantar, where he worked for over three years as the Development Director on the media division. Prior to this role Ashiru worked at PPC competitive intelligence firm AdGooroo, acting as UK Business Manager.
GWI hires Campbell
Target audience company, GWI has announced the appointment of Bex Campbell as Chief Product Officer.
Campbell joins the GWI team from Brandwatch, bringing 8 years of extensive research technology and leadership experience to the role. She will help GWI expand its business by spearheading product development to meet the evolving needs of its increasingly diverse and sophisticated client base across more than 60 countries.
AdImpact appoints Chief Business Officer
Ad intelligence SaaS company, AdImpact has announced that Dwight Green has been appointed as the company’s new Chief Business Officer.
Green brings over 20 years of experience building out ventures and solutions at the intersection of martech, data, media, and advertising. He has driven business innovation and monetization outcomes in audience targeting, attribution, identity resolution, ad intelligence, and other solutions for Nielsen, WPP, Deluxe Corporation, and others.
Audiencerate announces new Advisory Board
Identity hub specialising in compliant data-driven advertising, Audiencerate has announced a new Advisory Board with founding members Doug Knopper, Ralf Jacob and Saqib Mausoof.
The board members bring a wealth of experience to Audiencerate – Doug Knopper is former General Manager of advertising technology at DoubleClick, and former CEO and co-founder of FreeWheel; Ralf Jacob, previously President and CRO of Verizon Media Platform; and Saqib Mausoof, former Chief Data Strategist at IPG Mediabrands – and will provide strategic support on future activity, as Audiencerate develops new product solutions for the changing adtech environment.
Hybrid Theory makes additions to Senior Leadership Team
Digital services partner, Hybrid Theory appoints industry leaders Peter Birch and Fern Potter to its Senior Leadership Team.
Birch has over two decades of experience in ad tech and digital media and has held senior positions as Head of Online and Head of Interactive and Mobile at ITV.
Potter brings with her fifteen years of experience working with global brands across data, ad tech, and media procurement. Before joining Hybrid Theory as Global CSO, Potter was Global Strategy Officer at creative data marketing agency FCB/SIX, having previously held senior positions at Neo Media World, Carat, MediaCom and PHD Australia.
Tried & True welcomes seven new members
Yorkshire headquartered digital agency, Tried & True has welcomed seven new members to its team as well as making several senior appointments.
Kirstie Looms has been appointed as Director and Sammy Altman as Head of PR & Social Media. Alongside Tried & True’s senior appointments, Holly Parker has been hired as General Manager, Dave Wilkinson has joined as a Digital Strategist, Ross Lowe has started as Tried & True’s Junior Graphic Designer and both Heather Page and Henry Marshall have been hired as Marketing Assistants.
M&C Saatchi promotes Kennedy
International communications network, M&C Saatchi has promoted Tom Kennedy to a newly created Creative Director position.
Kennedy joined M&C Saatchi Group in December 2018, originally working at customer agency LIDA, which merged with M&C Saatchi in January 2020. He has since led a number of multi award-winning campaigns including Invesco “Times Change” and Christie’s “Own the Controversy”.
He has previously held roles at agencies including RAPP, Saatchi Masius and J. Walter Thompson.
Digital Natives hires new Head of Production
Social-first creative agency, Digital Natives has hired Tom Franz as Head of Production.
Franz joins from Studio Black Tomato, where he was most recently Head of Creative Production and worked across a wealth of global luxury, lifestyle and travel clients. In his new role at Digital Natives, he will have strategic oversight of client projects across the agency and be responsible for helping take the team to the next level, both themselves and in terms of standard of delivery.
Imagination announces two senior promotions
Experience design company, Imagination has announced two promotions in its EMEA senior leadership team to support its expansion and growth in the Middle East.
Adel Noueihed has been promoted to Regional Managing Director from his position as General Manager and Elisabeth Anne becomes General Manager, having previously held the position of Client Services Director.
Adel has led the Middle Eastern business for the past nine years and during this time has expanded the business in UAE and across the region into KSA and Qatar. In his new role, he will be responsible for all new business and client activity within the region while managing the Imagination offices in Doha, Dubai and Riyadh.
Anne joined Imagination in 2011 as Senior Project Manager, before becoming Client Services Director in 2019. In her new position as General Manager, Anne will take over from Adel, overseeing the day-to-day running of Imagination’s current Middle East hub in Dubai.
STARZ recruits Hemenez
Global media streaming company, STARZ has appointed Linnea Hemenez as Senior Vice President of International Marketing to the STARZ International Digital
Networks team
Prior to joining STARZ, Hemenez served as Head of Content Marketing at Spotify where she spearheaded global marketing and promotional strategy for podcasts, music and creators. Making Variety’s 2019 Digital Impact Report, she also led her team in partnership with Billie Eilish to promote the singer-songwriter’s debut album in 20 countries for on-line, out-of-home media, and a physical pop-up, winning a Gold Clio award for Spotify’s Billie Eilish Experience.
