Ogilvy appoints new CEO 
Integrated creative network, Ogilvy has appointed Fiona Gordon as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Gordon starts as CEO with immediate effect moving from her current position as Ogilvy Chief Client Officer EMEA, where she focused on making EMEA and the UK a beacon for Ogilvy’s growth and creative vision. Prior to her EMEA role, Gordon was the WPP UK Team Lead for Walgreens Boots Alliance, building a multi-awarding winning WPP team of experts who not only grew revenue by $3million in a year, but managed to secure Boots’ highest brand reputation scores for 10 years, before leading and retaining the business in a global pitch in 2020.

“Having started my career at Ogilvy UK as a graduate trainee, there is a wonderful circularity about taking the reins of the agency I love now as the CEO –particularly at a time when the UK business is producing  award-winning impactful work for our clients across all areas from advertising to PR and experience” said Gordon. “Im so energised by the opportunity to lead and cherish Ogilvy UK and look forward to partnering with our fantastic clients and stellar talent, to deliver work that has true impact for all our clients and our people.”

Skyflow hires Kopacki 
Data privacy company, Skyflow has recruited Paul Kopacki. He will lead marketing and growth for Skyflow’s data privacy vault for enterprise, fintech and healthcare companies.

Prior to Skyflow, Kopacki held CMO or vice president of marketing roles at a number of software companies including: Realm, a leader in data synchronization between enterprise and mobile or IOT devices; Heroku, a Salesforce company and pioneer in platform-as-a-service (PaaS); and Salesforce, where he led developer marketing. He is also a director at Vaadin, the open-source platform for modern web apps.

“Skyflow is building a generational company. Just as Heroku made complex deployment and scaling problems easy for developers with its innovative platform, Skyflow is empowering developers with its developer-friendly data privacy vault API. Skyflow allows you to easily build secure apps that handle sensitive personal, financial, and healthcare data while maintaining privacy and compliance” said Kopack. 

Canela Media recruits Palomeres Salinas 
Latina-owned digital media company, Canela Media has announced the appointment of Germán Palomares Salinas as Country Manager/Vice President of Sales in Mexico.

Palomares Salinas has spent his career helping international organizations develop comprehensive expansion plans, sales and growth strategies, with particular focus on Latin American markets. He joins Canela Media after having led Condé Nasts digital revenues for Mexico and Latin America, where he was responsible for sales and digital transformation.

“Joining Canela, at a time when streaming platforms are growing so rapidly, means more than a challenge in opening a new market; it is the opportunity to bring free entertainment to millions of people and to connect their interests and consumption habits with advertisers who seek to communicate a relevant message for them,” said Palomares Salinas. “I am very excited for the opportunity to make Canela a household name in Mexico, and to offer the best product along with the best service for our brand partners.”

Hallam expands its content marketing team 
Stategic digital marketing agency, Hallam has expanded its content marketing team, with two new hires. Anna Murphy and Cormac Clarke. 

As Content Marketing Consultant, Murphy will be looking after PR, social media and all things content marketing, advising clients and devising their content strategy. Prior to Hallam, she worked as a feature writer for national women’s magazines before joining retail technology specialist, Retail Assist, where she handled their PR and communications.

Clarke joins as Digital PR Executive, having recently graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and having a placement at Notts County Women as a social media and content officer.

The Ozone Project announces first ever Chair 
Digital advertising platform, The Ozone Project has appointed Martin Harriman as its first-ever Chair.

Harriman brings a huge wealth of executive leadership from the cutting edge of technology and telecommunications and has extensive experience in chairing high growth, early stage businesses. Most recently he was Non-Executive Chair for WaveOptics Ltd, the Augmented Reality company that was sold to Snap Inc. for over $500 million last week. Harriman is also Non-Executive Chair for Cambridge Communications Ltd, the Softbank backed radio technology company and a Non-Executive Director of Community Fibre Ltd, London’s largest fibre-to-the-home broadband company.

De Baecker joins Vibes 
Mobile engagement platform, Vibes has announced the appointment of Thibault de Baecker as the company’s vice president of sales for the EMEA region. 

De Baecker brings over 20 years of experience in business development in the data analytics and performance space. Prior to joining Vibes, he served as regional vice president of Southern Europe at Databricks, where he successfully built out his region in less than two years to create a sustainable team that achieved over 300% in revenue growth.

Before that, he massively grew Talend’s French revenue and team to over 30 employees as the sales director. He has also served as a business development leader for IENA Consulting, a business analytics and optimization consulting firm, and founded and directed SARL DALI, a consulting firm focused on data migration.

“I am excited to join Vibes at a time when the company continues to evolve its intelligent mobile engagement platform to deliver the most advanced solutions in the market” said de Baecker.

Nickelytics recruits Robinson 
Techstars backed company innovating OOH advertising, Nickelytics has appointed Rick Robinson to its board of advisors.

Robinson brings more than 30 years of leadership throughout all facets of the industry including sales, creative direction and executive strategy. He was previously inducted into the OAAA (Out-of-Home Advertising Association of America) Hall of Fame in 2003 and currently serves as Partner and Chief Strategy Officer for Billups – the largest, independent, privately-held out-of-home technology and managed services company in the U.S.

“It’s an exciting time to be in the OOH advertising space as we enter a critical phase of its evolution. Adtech innovations will continue to inform the value of OOH Media to advertisers. I look forward to advising and learning from the Nickelytics team” said Robinson. 

Gauthier joins Cavai 
Conversational advertising cloud, Cavai has announced the appointment of Matt Gauthier as Sales Director for their growing US team.

Gauthier will play a pivotal role in bringing Cavai stateside to help brands and agencies deliver better advertising through conversational formats. Previously Senior Account Executive at SaaS company LiveRamp and VP of Sales at PushSpring – later acquired by T-Mobile – he has also held various roles at Amazon and Microsoft.

“I joined Cavai because I believe in its mission to deliver more impactful and creative advertising. With the data and privacy landscapes changing everyday, consumer trust is paramount: Cavai helps advertisers to future proof their user engagement with conversational formats which drive both interactions and insights. Xaxis promotes Sparry
GroupM’s outcome-driven media company, Xaxis has announced the promotion of Silvia Sparry to Global Chief Operating Officer.

In her newly created role, Sparry leads Xaxis’ global operations and will be focused on accelerating Xaxis’ journey to become an artificial intelligence (AI) and data science first company. Responsible for technology platforms, partnerships, operations and process excellence, Sparry will work to maximise synergies across Xaxis’ 47 markets, as well as across the wider group, including GroupM and WPP.

Hivestack appoints new General Manager 
Global programmatic DOOH advertising company, Hivestack has announced the appointment of Aileen Ku as General Manager, China.

Ku brings to Hivestack over two decades of digital advertising experience and a strong track record of consulting for foreign companies on their entry strategy and operational set up in China. Ku joins Hivestack from RTBAsia, the advertising verification service provider, where she held the position of Chief Growth Officer leading the sales operation of its advertising tracking and verification business unit.

Acoustic announces extension of its UK footprint 
Open and independent marketing cloud and analytics provider, Acoustic announces the appointment of Roy Jugessur as Vice President, EMEA Sales.

Jugessur joins Acoustic after serving in senior roles at companies including Thunderhead, Selligent Marketing Cloud, and Experian Marketing Services.

Since its market entrance in 2019 following Centerbridge Partners’ acquisition of IBM Watson’s Marketing portfolio, with market position, customer scale, and a proven technology platform, Acoustic has grown to serve an international client base including Fortune 500 brands. In the UK, it counts leading retailers and brands, including Harrods, SportPursuit, and the Royal National Theatre amongst its customers.

Karandikar joins Eyeota 
Data partner to global enterprises, Eyeota announced that Ashwini Karandikar has been appointed to the company’s Board of Directors. 

A widely-recognized agency innovator, Ashwini previously served as an advisor to Eyeota, providing expert counsel across their products, services and mobile-facing strategy. Her appointment to Eyeota’s board of directors aids the company in their continued growth and innovation.

“Eyeota is filling a worldwide gap in privacy-by-design data activations and solutions, digital identity and marketing efficiency. Not only are they helmed by an impressive leader, but they’re also addressing the bigger picture in addressability for data in marketing and global data unification” said Karandikar.

Ayzenberg Group appoints first ever Director 
Advertising agency, Ayzenberg Group has named Victor Parker as Director of Corporate Communications.

Most recently, Parker served as Consumer/Lifestyle Media Manager at Western Digital Corp. In his former role, he developed consumer and lifestyle, media-focused PR campaigns for Western Digitals consumer brands, including WD, SanDisk, and G-Technology.
