Chief Product Officer Announced for App Annie
Aaron Mahimainathan, former chief product officer at Telerik, is joining mobile app insights and analytics firm App Annie as its new chief product officer, responsible for expanding its app intelligence products.

Mahimainathan has over 20 years worth of experience in various high impact roles, having held major positions with SAP, Siebel Systems and Oracle. He joins App Annies executive team, working alongside other innovators with experience in global marketing strategy, digital platforms and B2B technologies.

“Most companies are using mobile to better engage their customers, and need insights to expand their businesses into apps,” said Mahimainathan. “Im looking forward to working with the clear market leader, whose product suit plays and integral role in the evolution of the mobile and mobile app space.”

Adjust Adds Chief Revenue Officer as US Headcount Triples
App intelligence platform Adjust has appointed a new chief revenue officer and vice president of US sales as part of its expansion in the US, which has seen the firm triple its employee headcount in the United States over the past year.

Marty Siewert brings over 25 years of domestic and international executive experience to the role of chief revenue officer. Most recently, he was CEO of Digital MBS, and in the past he has been chief revenue officer of Zoove and general manager of ClearForest.

Armando Osuna joins the company from AppsFlyer to serve as vice president of US sales. Osuna founded Meadow Ventures, and has acted as head of accounts at Kiip and head of gaming and account management in the US for AppsFlyer.

“The US market is currently among the largest markets in terms of revenue for the company with 30 per cent, so it makes the most sense for us now to invest in additional resources,” said Christian Henschel, CEO and co-founder of Adjust. “Both Marty and Armando represent a strategic initiative of expanding our market share more aggressively in the near term.”

Katy Leeson Joins Social Chain as Operations Director
Social media marketing agency Social Chain has named Katy Leeson as its new operations director. Leeson will be responsible for integrating processes, practices and tools into Social Chain to help grow the firm.

Prior to joining Social Chain, Leeson was head of new business and marketing at MediaCom North, where she was responsible for overseeing the internal and external marketing strategy, and earlier this year she was shortlisted for an IPA Woman of Tomorrow award.

“We are absolutely delighted to have Katy on board to help drive the company forward,” said Steven Bartlett, CEO of Social Chain. “With business in NEw York and Berlin booming, and the Manchester office continually growing, Katy will help steer us in the right direction and help us make strategic new business decisions.”

MEC Wavemaker Lures Mediacoms Susie Burns as Head of Content Planning
Media agency MEC has hired Susie Burns as head of content planning to work within its Wavemaker content division. Burns joins from Mediacom Beyond Advertising, where she was an associate director and content lead for Direct Line, and worked on campaigns for TUI, Coca-Cola and VW.

“At MEC, the team uses data and insights to answer the clients business need with a combined content and media solution,” said Burns. “Wavemaker has the foundations set up to really embed themselves into their clients overall marketing strategy. The team are already creating great ideas and executing them well, and I cant wait to build on them and generate even better work for our clients.”

Burns will be responsible for helping clients make strategic and purposeful investments in content throughout the buying cycle, with a clear and accountable measure of success. She will act as a single point person for content planning across creative, experiential, partnerships, paid media, social and SEO.
