Tim Kersen joins Bloomberg Media as Sales Manager for Finance and Automotive in Europe
Bloomberg Media has appointed Tim Kersen as its sales manager for Finance and Autos across Europe. Kersen will lead the sales team responsible for multimedia partnerships with some of the worlds largest financial and automotive brands, with a remit spanning Bloomberg Medias entire portfolio.

Kersen brings over 20 years of media experience to the role, having most recently worked at Archant Dialogue as commercial director, where he worked with clients including Rolls-Royce, Royal Ascot, Porsche, Harley-Davidson and Jeep.

Prior to Dialogue, Kersen was head of new business at Dmg Media and has also held a number of senior roles across client sales, agency trading and account management, having started his career at Zenith Media. Kersens appointment comes on the back of double-digit growth for its commercial content operation, Bloomberg Media Studios.

Decision Tech names Head of New Ventures

Performance marketing and data group Decision Tech has hired Dominic Baliszewski as head of new ventures, a newly created role that will focus on identifying bespoke tech solutions that the company has built in-house and taking them to market, as well as developing strategic data partnerships built on the firms wealth of unique market product and consumer behavioural data.

An experienced commercial, consumer and digital strategist, one of Baliszewskis first projects at Decision Tech has been to plan, execute and launch Fullsight, an online tool that enables affiliate publishers to track, report and optimise sales data across multiple networks.

Baliszewski was most recently director of consumer strategy at Momentum, where he oversaw all aspects of Momentum UKs consumer business. Prior to that, he ran commercial operations at broadbandchoices.co.uk.

“Im really excited to be back at Decision Tech,” said Baliszewski. “The business has always had a reputation for building best-in-market tech that helps consumers find the best communications deals, but there has also been some fantastic reporting tech and data innovations that have say alongside this and powered our growth. Now is the right time to bring our technology and data products to the market to help other affiliate publishers work smarter, faster and wasate less time reporting.”

Glue founder steps onto Gravity Road as Executive Creative Director
Seb Royce, the founder of Glue who left the firm in 2013, has come aboard London-based creative agency Gravity Road to lead the creative department. He will work alongside creative director Shruti Veeramachineni at the firm, and also continue to work at family history app start-up Kindeo.

Royce was executive creative director at Glue from 2000 until his departure, when he joined video content distribution firm Rockabox. He then worked at PR consultancy Freuds until 2016, and also co-founded Kindeo during this period.

“I love what Gravity Road are doing,” said Royce. “The way the team operates and the nature of the work they deliver feels genuinely progressive. And theyre all great people too.”

Pully Chau promoted to CEO at Cheil Greater China
Cheil Worldwide has elevated Pully Chau to CEO of Cheil Greater China. Previously the chief operating officer at the firm, Chau has worked in the industry for more than 30 years, and has been a shaping force in the evolving advertising market of China for almost as long.

As the group chief operating officer for Cheil Greater China over the passt two years, she has led the agencys 1,400 employees and overseen the company winning new clients including Alibaba, China Unicorn, FAW-Volkswagen and the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics Project.

Prior to joiing Cheil in2015, Chau was chairman and CEO of FCB Breater China and CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi China. She brings a wealth of management skills and experience to the role, and has served as the vice president of the China Advertising Association and president of the Greater China Effie Awards.

Mobkoi brings former BBC Worldwide exec on as VP of Client Partnerships
Caroline Wilkinson, former regional director for the UK, Ireland and the Nordics at BBC Worldwide, has been appointed as vice president of client partnerships at mobile marketing specialist Mobkoi. The newly-created role comes as part of the firms commitment to being a client-centric business and continuing to nurture customers during its rapid growth.

“Bringing Caroline onboard is a crucial step for us as we strive to maintain the care and attention that our clients have received from day one as a start-up, even after we grow into several more offices internationally,” said Quentin Le Pape, CEO and co-founder of Mobkoi. “Weve known Caroline for years during her time at BBC Worldwide and its a pleasure for us to welcome her to the Mobkoi family.”

Wilkinson will be responsible for developing and scaling growth, formulating client strategy and creating an entirely new client management team to liase with Mobkois customer base of premium and luxury brands.

Foresite Capital expands leadership with four new executives
Healthcare technology-focused investment firm Foresite Capital has unveiled four new appointments to strengthen the companys leadership team and direct the more than $1bn (£763m) the company has under its management. The firm provides catalytic capital to healthcare companies at every stage of growth, from seed investment to beyond IPO.

The new executives joining the firm are Vikram Bajaj, managing director; Phil Kallos, director of engineering; Amelia Stoj, chief compliance officer and director of legal and investor relation; and Cindy Lundin Mesaros, director of marketing and communications.
