LoopMe Hires Scott Shulman to Drive Growth in US
Mobile video platform LoopMe has appointed Scott Shulman as its vice president for sales in North America to lead the companys growth in the competitive US market as it attempts to expand there.

Shulman joins LoopMe from RocketFuel, where he was vice president of agency partnerships, which he moved to from being vice president of strategic sales. While at RocketFuel, he helped the company move from a start-up through to it IPO, managing a team of 30 sales staff and bringing in $160m.

As vice president of sales in North America for LoopMe, hell be responsible for driving the companys development in the US, building on successful relationships with brands like Adidas, Microsoft, Netflix and Heineken to fuel the firms ambitious plans for conquering the US market.

His background in artificial intelligence and data made him the perfect choice to lead the US team from our New York office.”

4C Expands Into Europe with Three Senior Hires
Multichannel data science company 4C is aiming to strengthen its presence in the EMEA market with three senior appointments spanning marketing, social media and sports, as it focuses on delivering industry-leading solutions for cross-screen advertising analytics and activation.

Kirsty Brice (née Wyllie) joices 4C as marketing director for EMEA, responsible for raising awareness of the brand across the region through strategic activities targeting advertisers, agencies, media companies and content owners. She has 12 years experience in marketing and sales roles in the media industry, across a range of channels including digital, TV and outdoor.

Tim Lunn has been appointed Sports Sales Director for EMEA, to work with sports federations, organising bodies, rights holders, sports brands and agencies on improving the value of their advertising across TV and social media. He joins 4C from Stats, where he worked as media strategy and business development manager for Europe, and has had roles at Sky Sports and Prozone Sports.

To help support the growth of its social ads business, 4C is also bringing on board Hannah Smith as senior cleint manager. Smith has a deep understanding of social advertising products and native ad platforms, with over two years experience in paid social media working with advertisers and agencies at Adobe and Brand Networks.

Snapchat Picks Up Two Senior Measurement Executives
Social messaging app Snapchat has hired two new senior measurement executives to help the company give marketers a better sense of the benefits they can gain by running ads on the much-buzzed about platform.

Ali Rana joins the firm from Millward Brown, where he was chief digital strategist, to become the companys new head of audience and brand solutions. He has over 20 years experience in the marketing world, and his previous roles have focused on developing measurement methodologies and practices to analyse the effectiveness of emergent digital platforms exactly like Snapchat.

Meanwhile, the companys new head of quantitative ads research is Gunnard Johnson, who most recently worked as an advertising research director at Google, where he developed research standards for brands looking to compare YouTube to more traditional television advertising.

Blis Targets Central Europe with New Office
Advanced location data firm Blis has opened operations in Düsseldorf, Germany as part of its rapid international expansion plans. The companys move into the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) will be overseen by Attila Mermer, who will run the new office, and operations in the region, as managing director.

Mermer has over 20 years experience in brand marketing and sales within agency, client and commercial environments, most recently at video platform Teads as vice president of international sales, where he was in charge of global strategy for the automotive and finance verticals.
