Mark Stewart Joins Mubaloo as Chief Technology Officer
Former head of development and architecture at IBM Mark Stewart has been named as the new chief technology officer at mobile consultancy and app developer Mubaloo.

His new role will see him take responsibility for the companys technology strategy, including managing the delivery arm of Mubaloo that covers iOS, Android and web development, quality assurance and user experience. In addition, he will drive the vision for Mubaloos Innovation Lab, and serve on the firms board of directors.

Stewart has more than 30 years experience in the IT industry, having worked in various leadership roles at companies including EE and Fujitsu, as well as operating his own consultancy company.

“I am very please to be joining Mubaloo at such an exciting time,” said Stewart. “In the space of a few years, Mubaloo has transformed from innovative start-up to award-winning enterprise consultancy, driving innovation and enabling its clients to perform more effectively in business.”

Impact Radius Expands With Three Strategic Hires
Marketing suite and platform creator Impact Radius has announced three appointments aimed at supporting its expansion, following a successful funding round and two corporate acquisitions.

Safiyya Riyadh has joined from Affiliate Window to serve as head of onboarding and technical services for EMEA, James Bennie, formerly of Affilinet, will be the new customer success director for EMEA, and Clinton Liem occupies the newly created role of sales development associate manager, having previously worked in sales development at Thomson Reuters.

“We are delighted to welcome Safiyya, James and Clinton to the expanding Impact Radius team,” said Mark Wrighton, vice president of EMEA at Impact Radius. “Impact Radius UK office has seen significant growth throughout 2016; as well as new hires and the acquisition of Forensiq and 5iQ, there is a great opportunity to further push our unique marketing platform capabilities and that is why it was so important to get the ideal technical and customer success leaders.”

Two New Executives Come Aboard Splunk
Operations intelligence platform Splunk has expanded its leadership team with two new executive hires; Brian Goldfarb as chief marketing officer and Richard Campione as chief product officer.

Goldfarb is a veteran marketing executive with experience leading marketing efforts for premier cloud and platform technology providers, including Salesforce, Google and Microsoft. As CMO, he will oversee the firms global marketing strategy and drive revenue growth across the Splunk product portfolio.

Campion has been a technology leader for more than 30 years, across both startups and multinational corporations. As CPO, he will oversee product strategy and engineering across the Splunk portfolio and Splunk Cloud to drive innovation and meet the needs of Splunk customers within IT, security and business teams.

New VPs of Sales and Engineering Named at Teckst
Text-based customer service solution Teckst is growing its executive and technology leadership team with several new hires, including the appointment of new vice presidents of sales and engineering.

New vice president of sales Kris Wiig joins from General Assembly, where she was director of enterprise sales and instructor of sales strategy and sales communication. She is an accomplished sales leader with deep expertise in helping B2B companies develop and execute go-to-market strategies and building sales teams for disruptive technologies.

Alson Kemp, the new vice president of engineering, comes to Teckst from Vium, where he was the first employee and rose to head of platform, leading the development of the companys pre-clinical research platform and software. He has also served as vice president of engineering at Cerego, and as a partner at digital marketing agency ROI.DNA.

Teckst has also appointed two new technology advisers in the shape of Ron Garret, one of the earliest Google employees and lead engineer on the inaugural release of AdWords, and Jodd Readick, co-founder of a number of innovative telecom firms including Vumber.com.

Michael Zagorsek Signs Up With SoundHound
Sound recognition and conversational intelligence firm SoundHound has brought Michael Zagorsek on board as vice president of product marketing as the company expands its reach to meet the growing demand for voice and AI technology.

Zagorsek joins SoundHound from Square, where he was head of product marketing and built the companys product marketing arm from the ground up. He has previously worked in marketing and analytics at Leap Motion and Apple.

“Ive always been passionate about bringing people and technology together,” said Zagorsek. “SoundHounds legacy in music recognition is unmatched and, with the introduction of Hound and Houndify, were poised to revolutionise how people interact with the world around them.
