S4M
Ad tech firm S4M has appointed a new head of publisher management and development, Pierre Gauthier.

Gauthier has more than a decade of experience in the digital industry in both start-ups and major international companies. He launched the French subsidiary of Widespace as co-director and director of partnerships, and worked as digital business development manager at Publicitas.

SpotX
Video inventory publisher platform SpotX has hired Robert Greaves to act as supply operations manager, and Julian Strutt as business development manager.

Joining from Brightroll, Greaves and Strutt will work with publishers and broadcasters in the UK and southern Europe to maximise their video ad revenues. Strutt boasts eight years of digital publishing experience, and Greaves has worked on video, mobile, display and native ad campaign optimisation at Yahoo! before his time at Brightroll.

“With years of experience in video advertising between them, both Strutt and Greaves can offer seasoned advice to publishers and braodcasters on the best optimisation techniques to improve their performance for advertisers and their agencies,” said Léon Siotis, managing director for UK and southern Europe at SpotX.

Swrve
Swrve has hired Ramsey Masri to serve as new chief revenue officer for the mobile engagement firm.

Masri joins from OtherLevels, where he was CEO, and has a 21 year career in mobile and digital marketing, having worked with companies including Oracle, CriticalPath and Openwave. He will be responsible for leading overall revenue generation, as well as maintaining and growing new revenue streams.

Start
Global brand and business transformation agency Start has hired Lulu Burrough as lead experience designer.

Burrough, who has produced work for brands including Superdrug, Three, Watsons and Cancer Research UK, will work directly with clients designing cross-device, cross-platform physical and digital experiences. Her main clients at Start are Adidas, HMV, P&G and Dyson.

Burrough previously worked as a user experience lead with Sainsburys, where she was responsible for developing, evolving and promoting the vision of user experience design across the organisation, and worked to land a number of user-centred design practices within the business.
