Nigel Clarkson YahooYahoo hires Weves Clarkson as UK MD
Nigel Clarkson has been appointed as UK managing director and country commercial director for Yahoo.

Clarkson joins from Weve, where he was promoted to managing director in June following the company’s acquisition by O2. Starting at Yahoo in February 2016, Clarkson will oversee its business in the country, and in particular the promotion of Yahoos ad offering to UK brands and agencies.

Bloomberg Media names Havens global head of digital
Bloomberg Media has named M. Scott Havens as global head of digital.

Havens joins from Time, where he held the position of SVP, digital. Based in Bloombergs New York office, Havens will be responsible for global consumer digital initiatives, and overseeing digital product, user experience, partnerships, and digital strategy for Bloomberg’s websites, apps, over-the-top platforms and more.

LoopMe hires director of programmatic
Mobile video ad platform LoopMe has hired Paul Gibbins as director of programmatic.

Gibbins was previously head of UK programmatic sales at Teads, and before that held roles at Sky, Turner Broadcasting and MCN Australia. At LoopMe, he will be responsible for driving forward the company’s programmatic offering.

Movvo tracks down CEO
Location tech firm Movvo has appointed Cyrus Gilbert-Rolfe as CEO.

Gilbert-Rolfe has over 25 years of experience at companies including Netscape, Microsoft and most recently Path Intelligence. At Movvo, he will help capitalise on the expanding demand for real-time, mobile movement data across a host of industries.
