Movistar Argentina Launches One Sim, Two Numbers

Movistar Argentina, part of Telefónica, has launched the Mi Número Extra service, which will gives its 16.8m mobile customers the opportunity to have an additional phone line without the need for another SIM.

The service allows users to separate personal and work calls or messages and the numbers can be billed separately.

It was first launched by Telefónica México in November 2011.
