Mubaloo Launches The Responsive Website Company

Bristol-based app development company Mubaloo is launching a responsive design and mobile website company, which they say will aim to cut site maintenance costs by up to 15 per cent.

The Responsive Website Company will offer strategic planning, UX and UI design, back-end integration, front-end development, testing and delivery, with projected turnover of £160,000 in the four months to the end of 2013. It starts off life with four clients – including international loss adjustors Cunningham Lindsey – who all have varied development requirements.

Karl Loudon, founder and creative director of another Bristol business, Make Design Enjoy, has been appointed as MD. Although Loudons former agency closed, Mubaloos Group CEO said he is keen to invest in the young mobile entrepreneur, starting with £200,000 to launch the company. TRW is now in a continuous recruiting drive for the rest of the year to hire more responsive experts.

“Responsive is more than a passing technology fad,” Loudon said. “Leading news organisations and public sector organisations have given it the seal of approval. Companies that redesign their sites now without making them responsive will end up doubling, or tripling the amount of work they do. Responsive ensures that whether your target audience visit your site from the mobile, tablet or desktop environment they get a consistent experience and rich design. It’s not about one size fits all, but instead one design fits all.”
This is just the first stage of a larger expansion plan by Mubaloo, the company said.
